The International Film Festival for the Animals, Animal Festival (Mostra Internacional de Cinema pelos Animais, Mostra Animal), is a free event aimed at raising awareness about the role of humans in protecting animals and the socio-environmental impacts of this interaction.
The Brazilian Vegetarian Society (Sociedade Vegetariana Brasileira, SVB), the organizing entity, curates national and international films addressing these issues and offers a rich program during the event days:
- National and international films
- Conversations with artists
- Lectures by renowned communicators
- Workshops with socio-environmental authorities
- Exhibition with various exhibitors
Since its first edition, the Animal Festival has positioned itself as an important event in promoting broad respect for animals, socio-environmental protection, art and culture. Always emphasizing the reality and necessary reflection on the numerous aspects surrounding the theme of animals.
